This guy is onto something!
What is it with coffee and Christians? Do you agree with his observations or is something else at play? Should I be less inclined to listen to Dave's preaching because he drinks Starbucks*?

i do know lots of Christians who take coffee too seriously.
i think Christian coffee snobs need to make sure they are passionate about the right things.

I don't necessarily agree with the guys points, but its interesting that he's noticed how many Christians are into coffee. Is there a meaningful correlation?
Dave, I agree, put God before the godshot. The same goes with any passion, hobby, activity that a Christian gets into. (some guy put up a good post about turning to God from soccer idols)

I reckon the community and relational aspects of coffee enjoyment are one of the reasons Christians are into coffee. Is it just the caffeine you're interested in Sam?!?
"Christian drug thing"? I don't know what that means... There is an argument that could be made that decaf drinkers are the true coffeesnobs- they drink coffee for coffee's sake- not for the caffeine...
That aside, worship the Creator, not the creation. Coffee is a good gift from a good God... but His greatest gift is His Son.
