Still awake....

....trying to finish my talk for SALT.

Should have done it ages ago - just can't stop procrastinating and DO IT!

Encouraging night at SALT

Talk went well on friday night. I was a little out of practice and feeling a little bit under prepared, but it all went quite well. Got good feedback from Mike and the kids and leaders.

Got a super encouraging email yesterday from one of the year 11 boys telling me how he was challenged by the talk. What a legend!

Bible Study

Had our second (or third) bible study last night. I'm getting more and more excited about our group every time we meet and I think its going to be a great year.

We are working our way through Galatians and last night knocked over chapter one. It's great to wrestle with God's word as a group.

Lots and lots to learn about leading a bible study though. Adri and I feel thoroughly ill-equipped to lead this bunch of Christians and feel the weight of the task.

What do you think makes a a great bible study? What are some things you've done or seen done that have worked really well?
